Business with Trade Shows

A trade show is an incredibly important event in any company’s calendar; it enables you to get out there face to face with prospective clients. This gives you the opportunity to convince them face to face that you can satisfy their needs, rather than you having to wait until they call you. Advertising can be a hit and miss experience, but at a trade show, the potential customers come to you! Prospective customers will be at the show, you just have to make sure you impress them positively. The best way to do that is to project an impression of professionalism that catches their attention before they even get to your booth.

You have decided on an eye-catching banner that will start reeling them in from the end of the aisle. Now you’ve got to decide on how to lay out your stall so that you can continue your impressive professionalism in person, and not ruin the banner’s excellent groundwork. Once the prospects get to your stall, the last thing you want is for them to realize that the banner lied and that this is not a professional company after all. Having brochures and flyers scattered randomly across your table leave a disorganized impression. Think about the ways you can display your whole presentation in a tidy, organized way.

You can easily get flyer racks that hold a large number of flyers or brochures in such a way as to allow prospective clients to view them and take one easily without creating a mess. These racks keep everything all beautifully localized so that you don’t start out tidy and then end up with a mess when fourteen people ask for flyers all at once. You can also use photo albums to display photos of your work – in progress photos might be appropriate, depending on your company’s product.

Another excellent way of showcasing your company’s products, services and talent is to use a display panel to display flyers, photos, schematics and anything else that you would like your clients to see. Show them what you think would help them to realize that you are the right choice when it comes to servicing their needs. Folding display panels are a particularly good idea. Not only are they generally light and easy to transport, but because they fold up, they take up less space in your vehicle during the transport phase.

These can also be prepared in advance with everything attached so that you can then fold them up, transport them to the trade show, unfold them and stand them up – all ready to attract your clients. An extra benefit is that because they are folding panels, they show whatever you have put on them at two different angles, so that you can attract interest from opposite directions simultaneously.

There are a number of ways in which you can display imagery relating to your company’s activities in an attractive, yet professional manner. It is worth investigating all your options before you settle on any particular display method; otherwise you might buy something and then discover later that you actually needed something completely different.
